I just realized there was no post about this, and this is pretty big news in Super Junior right now. Of course I'm talking about all the Kangin drama there is lately. This is in regards to the DUI incident, and not the bar fight incident. Quick rundown (snippets taken from varios articles on omonatheydidn't):
According to the police, Kang, while driving a rental car at a speed of 40-50 kilometers per hour, caused an accident involving two taxis on a road in Gangnam, southern Seoul, at 3.10 a.m., Thursday. He hit the first taxi, which was pushed forward and hit the other cab in front.
The moment after the accidents, he got out of the car and ran from the scene. About six hours later, he surrendered himself to the police station in Gangnam. His blood alcohol level was 0.081 percent, high enough to have his license revoked.

Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk, has put one word on his minihompy that has caused people to think it was about Kangin regarding the recent DUI accident.
On the 18th (at 01:03), Leeteuk posted in the diary of his minihompy, "...Idiot..." (..바보..) He also wrote on the main page, "Longing. That describes my emotions today. I will pray."

Super Junior's Kangin will go on a hiatus until the end of the year.
SM Entertainment released a statement on the 18th saying, "For now, we don't think Kangin can work as a member of Super Junior until later on. Even his fans are disappointed so until the end of the year, he will take a break to think about what he did."
--
According to the police representative who participated in the "interview" with Kangin on the 18th, Kangin revealed, "My name is Kim Young Woon (his real name), and I am a college student attending Kyung Hee University." Of course, to these busy and dutiful officers who work their butts off day and night to save citizens from danger, they were not aware that the man in front of them was actually the idol Kangin of Super Junior.
The officer to whom Kangin confessed to stated, "His identification card proved he was indeed an 85'er, Kim Young Woon. We asked for his occupation, and he answered "student of Kyung Hee University". We believed so, until we later found out that he was actually a well-known singer." This obviously proves that Kangin made an attempt to cover up his celebrity position, yet it ultimately failed.
--
Police said the 24-year-old singer admitted to all charges over an hour-long inquiry and will turn over the case to prosecution.

EDIT:
Today there was a post on omonatheydidn't (on LiveJournal) regarding Heechul's latest CyWorld update. I myself didn't have the chance to read the post, because shortly after it was posted it was removed. Jenn managed to get a screencap for me, and it says that Heechul updated saying he wants Kangin out of the group. I refuse to believe that's actually what he meant, though. I'm desperately holding onto the fact that it could very well be a mistranslation. And I mean, sure Heechul can be mean sometimes, but to go as far as to say he wishes a member would leave the group, considering how not too long ago he did an interview talking about how he had once had thought about leaving the group but decided against it because he loves Super Junior, it just does not make sense. Or maybe I'm just delusional.

EDIT 2:
Apparently it's been confirmed that Heechul's CyWorld update was a mistranslation, and that he does not in fact want Kangin out of the group.
I was right.
